As winter settles in, downtown Baker City sparkles with the spirit of the season during the Twilight Parade and Tree Lighting, affectionately known in chamber circles as Twilight Jubilee. This beloved winter event kicks off the holiday season with an illuminated parade down Main Street, live music, and the heartwarming tradition of lighting the community Christmas tree.
Each year on the first weekend in December - typically starting at 5pm - families, friends, and visitors gather together amid storefronts glowing with festive decor. From floating sleighs and marching bands to Santa's grand entrance, the parade brings joy and cheer to all ages.
Organized by the Chamber, Twilight Jubilee celebrates community resilience and the simple magic of coming together under a canopy of lights. Even chilly temperatures can't dim the warmth that fills the night - this event is where nostalgic tradition meets small-town sparkle!
